Abstract

The purposes of this research were to : (1) analyze the benefit of domestic fish cracker industry (2) analyze the financial feasibility of domestic fish cracker industry (3) describe the marketing that have been carried out the domestic fish cracker industry. The research was conducted on fish cracker entrepreneurs in Seberang Ulu I Sub District, Palembang. This research was conducted in begin on October 2017 until last on October 2107. The sampling method used in this research is the disproportionate stratified random sampling, which are grouping is advance based on the number of fish cracker production every day. The grouping are divided from three production scale of 30 kg/day, large-scale production of 54 kg/day and production scale of 90 kg/day. There are two types of fish cracker produced by the domestic fish cracker industry in Seberang Ulu I Sub District, Palembang. The product are crude fish cracker and fish cracker that has been fried. Marketing of production marketed within the city even outside the city of Palembang such as Bengkulu, Lampung, Pagar Alam, Central of Java and Jakarta. The result of the study show the production scale of 30 kg/hari is feasible to run of NPV Rp. 573.958.732.2,00, IRR 20%, Gross B/C 1.3 dan PP during 3 years 5 months 25 days. While the production scale of 54 kg/day financially feasible because seen from the results of research authors in the results can be feasibility of NPV Rp. 685.088.421.7,00, IRR 15%, Gross B/C 1.15 dan PP during 4 years 15 days and production scale 90 kg/day financially feasible too because seen from the results of research authors in the results can be feasibility of NPV Rp. 1.655.766.017,00, IRR 34%, Gross B/C 1.25 dan PP during 3 years 6 months 2 days.
