Abstract

This research was conducted to evaluate the growth response, production and biofertification of Hipa 18, Hipa 20 and Hipa 21 rice plants to application time of Zn fertilizer on swampland. This research was carried out from October 2021 to January 2022 at Pemulutan Dalam, Kertapati.This study used a factorial randomized block design with of 9 treatments, consisting of three varieties namely Hipa 18, Hipa 20 and Hipa 21 and Zn fertilizer application time, namely V1Z0 = Hipa 18 Rice Variety + Without Zn fertilizer application, V1 Z1 = Hipa 18 Rice Variety + Zn fertilizer application at active tillering stage (30 DAT), V1 Z2 = Hipa 18 Rice Variety + Zn application before flowering stage (90 DAT), V2Z0 = Hipa 20 Rice Variety + Without Zn fertilizer application, V2 Z1 = Hipa 20 Rice Variety + Zn fertilizer application at active tillering stage (30 DAT), V2 Z2 = Hipa Rice Variety 20 + Zn application before flowering stage (90 DAT), V3Z0 = Hipa 21 Rice Variety + Without Zn fertilizer application, V3 Z1 = Hipa 21 Rice Variety + Zn fertilizer application at active tillering stage (30 DAT), V3 Z2 = Hipa 21 Rice Variety + Zn application before flowering stage (90 DAT). Parameters observed included plant height(cm), tillers number in rice grain,panicles number per clump,grain number per panicales,zinc concentration in rice grain(ppm), zinc concentration in soil (ppm) flowering age (DAT),persentage of empty grains(%),100 grain weight(g),harvesting age (DAT). Analysis of variance using the annova test and continued with the 5% BNT test.The results showed that the effect of fertilizer apllication time on growth yield and biofertification of rice hipa varieties18, rice hipa varieties 20 and rice hipa varieties 21 in ricefield swamp land was significant on the variables of harvesting age and zinc concentration in rice grain.
