Abstract

The implementation of national health insurance in Indonesia is targeting universal health coverage in 2019. In December 2017 JKN in the working area public health center KTM Sungai Rambutan regency of Ogan Ilir only 33.17%. Number of people who worked as farmers is big enough to challenge BPJS Health for achieving these targets. This study aims to determine the variables associated by the intention of farmers to apply JKN in the working area public health center KTM Sungai Rambutan regency of Ogan Ilir. The type of this research is descriptive analytics with cross sectional design. Samples used farmers were 104 samples which selected by cluster random sampling. For analysis the data of this study was Chi Square and logistic regression. The results showed that 57,7 % of the farmers intention to apply JKN in the work area of public health center KTM Sungai Rambutan regency of Ogan Ilir. There are five variables related to intention of farmers to apply JKN. Those variabels are the behavioral beliefs (PR = 0,647, 95% CI 0,457-0,881, p-value= 0.017), the outcome evaluation (PR = 1,780; 95% CI 1,201-2,636, p-value = 0.003), motivation to comply (PR = 1,443; 95% CI 1,022-2,038, p-value = 0,050), control beliefs (PR = 0,657; 95% CI 0,450-0,960, p = 0.032) and perceived power (PR = 1,713; 95% CI 1,146-2,563, p = 0,006). The outcome evaluation is the most dominant variable dassociated with intention to apply JKN (p-value = 0,007; exp B =3,668; 95% CI: 1.429-9,410). Intention of farmers to apply JKN in the working area public health center KTM Sungai Rambutan regency of Ogan Ilir not been maximized. To imrove this membership BPJS Health needs to approach local stakeholders to introduce and educate all of the people to apply and inform the benefit of JKN.
