Abstract

PT Bima Putra Abadi Citranusa is a company engaged in coal mining located in Lubuk Betung Village, South Merapi District, Lahat Regency, Province South Sumatra. PT. BPAC plans to meet the production target in first quarter of 2022 of 459.711,58 tons. For this reason, it is necessary to plan a new mining design and schedule to meet production targets. This study aims to technically plan the stages of coal mining to achieve production, capabilities and requirements for digging and loading equipment to achieve production targets, and scheduling (penjadwalan) for digging and loading equipment and transportation equipment to achieve production targets from the pit that has been designed every month in the first quarter in 2022. Mining stage plan, pit design and dumping area to accommodate overburden using minescape 5.7 software. This research produces a pit monthly bench 10 meters, a bench 5 meters, a bench of work 30 meters, a bench 45o width of ramp 30 meters and a road slope of 8%. Overburden stripping and and coal getting uses 9 fleets and 2 fleets in January, 10 fleets and 3 fleets in February, 9 fleets and 2 fleets in March with production targets for overburden stripping 521,478 coal getting respectively for January of,15 BCM and 151,382.00 tons with a stripping ratio of 3.44, in February 538,561.72 BCM and 152,956.75 tons with a stripping ratio of 3.52, in March 550,397.63 BCM and 155,371.83 tons with a stripping ratio 3.54. Meanwhile, the equipment capability obtained from the forecast for overburden and coal getting for January was 534,478 BCM and 152,619 tons with a stripping ratio of 3.50, in February 561,837 BCM and 215,568 tons with a stripping ratio of 2.61, in March 579,487 BCM and 165,471 tons with a stripping ratio 3.50. The dumping area planned to be designed at the outpit dump at the north disposal and south disposal.
