Abstract

The government's efforts to overcome the spread of the COVID-19 virus have an impact on changing the order of social life in Indonesia. This affects the pattern of social interaction in every existing organization. Likewise, the Directorate General of Treasury implemented changes to the work system in the form of working from home (work from home) and a competency development system through the e-learning method. Changes to the system can have an impact on employee motivation and performance. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of implementing work from home and e-learning on employee performance with motivation as an intervening variable. This research method is quantitative with the method of distributing questionnaires to 112 respondents. Process Data analysis using Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed that the application of work from home and e-learning had a direct and significant effect on employee motivation and performance. This study also shows that the motivational variable is partial mediation in mediating the effect of implementing work from home and e-learning on employee performance. It can be concluded that changes in an organization will have an impact on organizational behavior and individual behavior in the organization, namely employee motivation and performance.
