Abstract

This research aims to know pump needs and water pump debit to support planting index 200 in swamp rice fields. Implemented of the research in May - June 2021 at Pelabuhan Dalam village, Pemulutan sub-district, Ogan Komering Ilir district. This research used a quantitative descriptive method and served in form of tabulation. The parameter used were air balance, the effectiveness of rainfall calculation, plant water needs calculation, water lost through percolation, water irrigation needs calculation, pump capacity calculation, and water pump. The research showed the pump needs in May, June, and November were 1 pump with water per hectare needs less than July, September, and October, so the pump needs were 2 pump per hectare with the debit 100.000 l/hour.
