Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the fluctuations in the price of guava fruit in Arisan Gading Village, South Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. Identify marketing channels for guava fruit in Arisan Gading Village, South Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. Analyzing the efficiency of the guava fruit marketing channel in Arisan Gading Village, South Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Arisan Gading Village, Indralaya Seletan District. The selection of this location was done deliberately with the consideration that the location has the potential for guava fruit with a plantation area of approximately 50 ha and the average community is a guava farmer. Data collection was carried out in March 2022. The research method used was a survey method. The sampling method used is census sampling and snowball sampling. Data processing methods in descriptive analysis and contribution analysis are presented in tabulation of data processing with Microsoft Excel. The results of this study indicate that there is a pattern of water guava marketing channels and three institutions involved, namely collectors, wholesalers and retailers. The guava marketing channel in Arisan Gading Village is efficient with the specification that channel II is more efficient than channel I.
