Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the level of underpricing of stocks at the time of initial public offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses secondary data in the form of financial statement data and other company information that conducted an initial public offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. The research sample was 150 companies obtained through purposive sampling techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study is a linear regression method of panel data with STATA. The results showed that the company's age, company size, and financial leverage had no effect on stock underpricing. The reputation of underwriters and earnings per share has a significant negative effect on the underpricing of the stock. Based on the results of this study, the factors that affect stock underpricing, namely underwriter reputation and earnings per share can be used for investors who will invest in a company in order to gain profits and for companies the results of this study can be used to improve the company's condition before conducting an initial public offering (IPO).
