Abstract

The swamp irrigation area in Upang Mulya Village, Makarti Jaya District is an irrigation area to channel and channel water to agriculture which is used for rice cultivation with an area of 302.73 hectares. This irrigation is intended to increase farmers' rice yields in the Makati Jaya District. The rice farmers there still carry out rice planting once per year with an average rice production of 2.8-4 tons GKP/ha. The problem in rice cultivation there is that its productivity is still low as a result of floods that occur from March to April and droughts from June to September. The absence of a good irrigation system in Upang Mulya Village makes it difficult for rice production activities to be maximized. Therefore, tertiary irrigation network planning is carried out by planning 35 tertiary canals and tertiary plots covering an area of 10-20 hectares each. Then at each meeting point between the secondary channel and the tertiary channel, it is planned to install a goose-neck water gate with a 12 inch diameter PVC pipe. Furthermore, the procurement of centrifugal water pumps was carried out for each farmer group area of 80 hectares for each farmer group so that a total of 26 water pumps were obtained. The estimated budget for the planning of the tertiary irrigation network is Rp. 905.094.000,00-.
