Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of variations EC values at each growth stages and yield of pakcoy plants. This research was carried out from December 2022 to April 2022 at the Greenhouse of the Agricultural Engineering Study Program, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, South Sumatra. The research method used RAL (Completely Randomized Design) design with one treatment factor, namely the provision of variations in EC values (A = EC values : 0,4 mScm-1, 0,8 mScm-1, 1,2 mScm-1, 1,6 mScm-1, B = EC values : 0,8 mScm-1, 1,2 mScm-1, 1,6 mScm-1, 2,0 mScm-1, C = EC values : 1,2 mScm-1, 1,6 mScm-1, 2,0 mScm-1, 2,4 mScm-1) with each treatment repeated six repetitions. The parameters of this study were plant height, number of leaves, stover weight and plant productivity. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the variation in EC values (A, B, C) had a very significant effect on plant height at 4 WAP (Week After Planting), number of leaves at 1 WAP and 3 WAP, and weight of the stover. Then it had a significant effect on plant height at 1 WAP and 2 WAP. But it had no significant effect on plant height at 3 WAP, the number of leaves at 2 WAP and 4 WAP. The largest plant productivity was indicated by treatment C with a value of 3033 g/m2 and the smallest was treatment B with a value of 2377 g/m2.
