Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors influence the implementation of the information system and environmental monitoring (SIPP-LINK) policy by the Department of Environment and Land (DLHP) of South Sumatra Province. This research is motivated by the many obstacles in the SIPP-LINK application and offline reporting. Implementation analysis uses George C. Edward III's Implementation Theory. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study indicate that there are factors that influence the success of the SIPP-LINK implementation, namely in the aspect of resources, namely the number of staff and facilities such as incomplete data on the SIPP-LINK application, another obstacle is the absence of incentives provided. The suggestion for this research is that the Department of Environment and Land (DLHP) of South Sumatra Province can make improvements and developments on the SIPP-LINK Application.
