Abstract

The purpose of this research was to compare the growth and yield of pakcoy and spinach using rice husk mulch and fruit POC treatment in the Lebak swamp land during the dry season of August-September Mariana Village, Banyuasin 1 District, Banyuasin Regency. The research was carried out in the field following the rules of factorial randomized block design with 3 replications. The treatment consisted of application of rice husk mulch with a thickness of 4.5 cm (M1) and without application of mulch (M0). The second treatment was the application of POC MOL of maja fruit 15 ml/L of water (P1) and without application of POC MOL of maja fruit (P0). The results showed that the treatment of rice husk mulch and POC maja fruit could increase the growth and yield of plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), and fresh weight (g) of pakcoy plants. In spinach POC maja fruit can produce a greenish level of leaves, mulching succeeded in reducing weed density.
