Abstract

China's Fashion Counterfeit is currently a problem or issue that has a huge impact on the international trade cycle. However, the existence of this problem is not used as the main problem, then the solutions offered by the government are usually considered normal. The threat of fashion counterfeit attacks every aspect of the fashion trade in Indonesia. With losses that have a very bad financial and moral impact, both for the Indonesian government and for local Indonesian fashion businesses. Securitization efforts should be carried out by Indonesia to change problems that are currently considered normal or normal, into serious problems that the Indonesian government must fight as much as possible. By using a securitization perspective in discussing this research, it is felt that it can answer the question of how China's counterfeit counterfeit countermeasure strategy to Indonesia can be carried out. Securitization Theory by Barry Buzan as a catalyst and solution for government non-political problems that threaten the survival of every aspect, as well as certain aspects. This study uses a qualitative approach using exploratory and descriptive research methods. By using qualitative data and secondary data obtained through the literature from various sources. The results of this study are the securitization efforts carried out by the Indonesian government to overcome Chinese counterfeit fashion into 5 main indicators, including (1) Securitizing actors (2) Speech act framing issues as reference objects (3) Existential threat (4) Target audience or parties reassured (5) Extraordinary measure or emergency action. The policy and ratification of the agreement by the Indonesian government has been carried out since 1997 until new efforts like now, such as the Imposition of Security Measures Import Duty on the Import of Clothing Products and Clothing Accessories and the MoU on Control of Illegal Imports, Excise and Exports.
