Abstract

This final project was carried out with the aim of designing an inventory collection application at the Prabumulih City Public Library. Prabumulih City Public Library is one of the libraries that still do data collection manually. This method makes it difficult to manage data and calculate the number of inventory items quickly and accurately. Data collection has not been stored in the database and still uses books and stationery so the writing error rate is also high. Based on these problems, the author designed a web-based application using PHP. The benefits of the application are that it facilitates the process of inventorying data, makes it easier to recap data, and data can be stored in a database. The methods used in making this application are observational research methods and waterfall development methods. The test result of this final project is that all the feature in the web-based inventory data collection application are successfully used.
