Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatahui faktor penyebab eksploitasi anak menjadi pengemis di Kecamatan Prabumulih Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan informan berjumlah 6 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi, wawancara serta observasi. Uji keabsahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya adalah uji credibility, uji transferbility, uji dependability, dan uji confirmability. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa faktor-faktor ekspoitasi anak memiliki tiga faktor yakni faktor kemiskinan, faktor lingkungan serta faktor ekonomi. Hasil penelitian serta pembahasan diketahui bahwa faktor penyebab terjadinya ekspoitasi anak ini terjadi karena adanya keterpaksaan oleh keadaan yang ada.
