Abstract

ABSTRAK Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling di sekolah perlu menumbuhkan kesadaran, adanya keberagaman budaya bagian dari pencapaian peluang pribadi , sosial dan karir peserta didik, hal tersebut penting bagi peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efikasi diri multikultural peserta didik SMP di daerah pedesaan dan di daerah perkotaan di Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini melalui skala efikasi multikultural (SEM) siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara efikasi multikultural siswa SMP daerah pedesaan dengan perkotaan dimana nilai mean SMP N 6 Medan sebesar 8,32 dan nilai mean SMP N 4 Siborongborong sebesar 6,38 terdapat perbedaan rata-rata sebesar 1,49.
