Abstract

Background: at rural area has experience that it lowering antenatal care visitation based on the analysis of Survey Demography Health Indonesian (SDKI) data starting at 20% become 19% and 17% in year 2012. Antenatal care (ANC) can detect the risk factor before the construct was happened, consequently more and more be better for giving the health handling to pregnant women and the baby. The purpose of this research is to know the Antenatal Care (ANC) determinant visit at Indonesian’s rural area (Analysis of Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) to Secondary Data in year 2014) Method: this research is using the design of cross sectional and use Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) to Secondary Data in year 2014. The sample of this research is the woman that live in the rural with age ≥15 years old based on the criteria of inclusion that they ever pregnant and it was looked at the last child. There is missing the data and the answering respond is they do not know. The Result of Research: there are seven variables that related with antenatal care (ANC) visitation they are parities (p-value=<0,0001), the distance of pregnant (p-value=<0,0001), work status (p-value=0,018), the income (p-value=<0,0001), the ownership of health insurance (p-value=0,002), the biography of aborts (p-value=<0,0001) and the complication of pregnant (p-value=0,001). Not to correlate the age (p-value=0,377) and the education (p-value=0,084) with antenatal care (ANC) visitation. The dominant factor of with antenatal care (ANC) visitation is the income (PR=2,652). Conclusion: The income is the dominant factor that it is effect with the antenatal care (ANC) visitation after it was controlled by distance of pregnant variable, work status, ownership of health insurance, biography of aborts and complication of pregnant. Health workers should routinely counsel the importance of antenatal care (ANC) to raise awareness of people with low incomes.
