Abstract

The company's main goal is to find the most appropriate improve profits with a target it wants. Profit growth is inseparable from the company's .financial performance which is reflected through .financial ratio. This research aims to investigate the influence of current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), total assets turn over (TATO), and net pro.fit margin (NPM) against profit growth. The population of this research consists of 12 food and beverage subsector companies listed in the lndonesia stock exchange (JDX) period 2012 - 2016. This research sample collected by the method of purposive sampling. Analytical techniques used are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The test results show that the current ratio and debt to equity ratio have significant effects against pro.fit growth. Meanwhile, total assets turn over and net profit margin doesn 't have significant influence towards profit growth. This may indicate that the .financial ratios can affect the decision of the investors in making investment decisions.
