Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair terhadap produksi padi (Oryza sativa L) pada tanah lebak serta mengetahui dosis terbaik untuk tanaman padi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di rumah plastik yang berlokasi di Tanjung Api-api Kecamatan Sukarame KM 10 Palembang yaitu pada bulan Maret sampai Mei 2013. Analisis tanah dilakukan di Laboratorium Fisika dan Konservasi Tanah serta Laboratorium Kimia, Biologi dan Kesuburan Tanah Jurusan Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Metode Penelitian Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 3 ulangan pada setiap perlakuan dengan aplikasi dosis (0, 24, 48, 72, 96, 120) ml pot'1. Peubah yang diamati adalah berat gabah kering giling, persentase gabah bernas, serta analisis tanah K dan Ca pada masa primordia. Hasil analisa menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap produksi padi varietas Ciherang pada persentase gabah bernas, berat gabah kering giling. Pupuk organik cair juga berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap K-tanah dan Ca-tanah pada masa primordia. Produksi tertinggi (30,90 g) dicapai dengan dosis pupuk organik cair sebanyak 120 ml pot-1
