Abstract

This research is entitled " Political Communication Strategy of the National Democratic Party in Building Positive Aspirations of the Party in Society ( Study on the DPW of the Nasdem Party of DKI Jakarta Province ) " . The Nasdem Party is one of the political party organizations in Indonesia . This study aims to determine the political communication strategy of the regional executive board of the DKI Jakarta Province National Democratic Party in building a positive image of the party in society . The theory used in this study is the Elaboration Likelihood Model theory developed by Richard E Petty and John T Cacioppo ( In Fiil , 1999 ) , in this theory there are two models of political communication , namely the Central Route and Peripheral Route . in - depth interviews , observations , and documentation . The results showed that the political communication strategy that occurred in the DPW of the DKI Jakarta Nasdem Party used the Central Route and Peripheral Route strategies with the aim of providing a significant influence in building a positive image of the party in the people of DKI Jakarta . The approach used in this study uses a good persuasive approach so that the DPW of the Jakarta Nasdem Party can be accepted and can get a place to put its trust in the leadership of the people of DKI Jakarta .
