Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Latihan Naik Turun Tanjakan Terhadap Kecepatan Jalan Cepat 2 Km Pada Siswa Putra Kelas V SD Negeri 21 lalang Kelapa Kabupaten Banyuasin” Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui pengaruh latihan naik terhadap kecepatan jalan cepat pada siswa putra kelas V SD Negeri 21 lalang Kelapa Kabupaten Banyuasin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen. Adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah kelas V putra yang berjumlah 36 orang siswa. Dari sampel tersebut dibagi dua kelompok sama jumlahnya dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling (ordinal pairing), yaitu 18 orang siswa kelompok eksperimen yang diberi perlakuan berupa latihan naik-turun tanjakan dan kelompok kontrol tidak diberi perlakuan. Hasil penelitian adalah setelah kelompok eksperimen melakukan latihan lebihkurang 8 minggu, maka telah terjadi peningkatan antara hasil pre-tesl dan hasil posttesi, demikian juga halnya denga uji-hipotesis yang dilaksanakan menyatakan bahwa t.hitung lebih besar dari t.tabel (t.hitung > t.tabci)- Berdasarkan keterangan tiga data di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan naik turun tanjakan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kecepatan jalan cepat pada siswa putra kelas V SD Negeri 21 Talang Kelapa Kabupaten Banyuasin.
