Abstract

This research is to develop mathematics learning media based on the Windows Movie Maker application on the material of fractional operations in class V SDN 118 Palembang, in terms of validity and attractiveness. This study uses the ADDIE development model, whose stages include Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Product Development has gone through a validation process, with a score of 87.5% which is categorized as very feasible from the validation of media experts, and a value of 79.5% which is categorized as eligible to be obtained from material expert validation. The results of the teacher's response obtained a value of 87.7% with a very decent category. After the media was tested, it was obtained from the student response questionnaire that the average student gave a score of 35.9, and the percentage of attractiveness was 89.8%, with a very interesting category. From the results of the study, the mathematics learning media based on the windows movie maker application on fractional arithmetic operations material in class V is feasible and the media is categorized as interesting to use in learning. In the future, hopefully this media can be used in learning in elementary schools.
