Abstract

Tanjung Pinang Village is one of 21 villages in the Tanjung Batu sub-district which is located 7 km to the east of Tanjung Batu sub-district and has an area of ​​more than 786,065 hectares. This study aims to determine the subsurface structure and determine the location of the groundwater zone in the study area. This research was conducted on 8 tracks using the 2-dimensional geoelectric method with the Wenner-Schlumberger configuration with an average track length of 120 meters and a maximum track length of 138 meters. The data obtained were analyzed computationally using Res2dinv software to show the resistivity values ​​of the constituent rocks and the thickness of each layer, then visualized in 3 dimensions using Voxler software. Based on the resistivity value of 2-dimensional modeling, it was found that the subsurface lithology of the study area is mostly rock on each track consisting of alluvium, gravel, dry gravel, sandstone, clay and a layer of sand filled with water. Groundwater in the aquifer zone is found in the first track with a resistivity value range of 5,03-23,6 Ωm , the fourth track with a resistivity value range of 2,76-13,1 Ωm, and the sixth track with a resistivity value range of 5,26-22,2 Ωm. Based on the geological map of the research area, the first track - the fourth track is dominated by alluvial soil types and on the fifth track - the eighth track is dominated by podzolic soil types.
