Abstract

This study aims to learn the projection of the Pampangan buffalo population based on the pregnancy profile. This research was conducted from March to April in villages that have a population of Pampangan buffalo in Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was conducted using a direct survey method in the field, through direct observation and interviews with farmers, by submitting question data (questionnaires) to farmers to find out and study the reproductive status of Pampangan buffalo in Pampangan sub-district, Ogan Komering Ilir district. The data obtained from this study are primary data and secondary data. The data obtained were then processed descriptively. The results of this study explain that the increase in the population of Pampangan buffalo in 6 villages in Pampangan District is only 14.39% per 4 years, while only 3.59% per year.
