Abstract

Thei aims of this study were to: (1) Calculate the farmer’s pineapple farming income in Betung II Village, Lubuk Keliat District, Ogan Ilir Regency, (2) Analyze the factors that affect the productivity of pineapple farming farmers in Betung II Village, LubukKeliat District, Ogan Ilir Regency, (3) Covduct a correlation test between productivity ad farm income of pineapple farmers in Betung II Village, Lubuk Keliat District, Ogan Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in Betung II Village, Lubuk Keliat District, Ogan Ilir Regency. The location of this research was chosen deliberately. Data collection was carried out in February 2022. The research method used in this study was a survey method. The sampling method used is a simple random sampling method with a total 30 farmers who cultivate pineapple plants. The data used in this study connsisted of primary data and secondary data. The result of this study indicate that (1) In pineapple farming farmers in Betung II Village obtained an average cost of income of Rp23.775.928.57 per hectare per growing season, (2) The use of productivity factors in farmers pineapple farming in Betung II Village, namely seeds significantly positive effect on peneapple production, while productivity factros in the form of land area, fertilizers, pesticides and workloads did nor significantly affect pineapple production. The effect of the use of fertilizer variables is no longer efficient, while the effect of using the variables of land area, seeds, pesticides and work volume is efficient. The sum of the coefficient values indicates that the production function is in a condition function is in a condition of Deacreasing Return to Scale, (3) Based on the correlation value and significance value on productivity and income farmer pineaplle farming produces a positive value, meaving that there is a unidirectional relationship between the productivity variable and the income variable.
