Abstract

Skripsi ini berjudul “Perkembangan Organisasi Pengurus Cabang Nahdlatul Ulama Kabupaten Muara Enim Tahun 1954-2021”. Rumusan masalahnya adalah bagaimana perkembangan organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama di Kabupaten Muara Enim dan peranan organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama di Kabupaten Muara Enim. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses berkembang dan peranan organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama di Kabupaten Muara Enim. Sedangkan teknik atau metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian adalah metode penulisan sejarah. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan data di lapangan bahwa awal mula terbentuknya organisasi Nahdlatul Ulama di Kabupaten Muara Enim saat itu masih berbentuk Partai Nahdlatul Ulama. Berawal dari perjuangan beberapa tokoh Ulama, politisi, pengusaha/saudagar dan tokoh masyarakat yang merintis organisasi Pengurus Cabang Nahdlatul Ulama pada tahun 1954 di Muara Enim. Berbagai rangkaian program kerja dijalankan oleh jajaran pengurus cabang Nahdlatul Ulama pada bidang sosial-keagamaan, ekonomi dan pendidikan. Berkat partisipasi dan dukungan masyarakat di Kabupaten Muara Enim, seiring berjalannya waktu kepengurusan struktural Nahdlatul Ulama tidak hanya berpusat di Kota Muara Enim, namun juga berkembang dan didirikan di beberapa Kecamatan bahkan sampai kepengurusan Ranting/desa.
