Abstract

Bentangalam di sepanjang zona deformasi pada area seluas 16 km2 di daerah Cibitung, Kabupaten Cianjur telah diidentifikasi dengan dua pendekatan, yaitu merekonstruksi penampang struktur geologi dan menganalisis ekspresi 3D topografi dengan Digital Elevation Model (DEM). Penentuan batas zona struktur dilakukan dengan menginterpretasikan tiga penampang geologi yang dibuat berdasarkan peta struktur daerah studi, kemudian hasil interpretasi di overlay dengan peta DEM. Rekognisi bentangalam dalam studi ini memfokuskan pada blok sesar naik Ciheas, antiklin Rajamandala, sinklin Ciburuy, dan antiklin Cibitung. Zona deformasi secara umum berorientasi NE-SW, sehingga identifikasi bentangalam dilakukan sepanjang arah umum sebaran struktur tersebut. Blok sesar naik Ciheas memiliki sederetan bukit dengan panjang puncak berkisar antara 213-1.708 m, zona antiklin Rajamandala ditempati oleh perbukitan yang mempunyai panjang puncak terukur antara 313-739 m, zona sinklin Ciburuy memperlihatkan sekumpulan bukit-bukit yang memiliki panjang garis puncak antara 203-623 m, dan zona antiklin Cibitung menunjukkan ekspresi permukaan perbukitan dengan kisaran panjang puncak antara 236-852 m. Analisis diagram kipas dari kelurusan bukit-bukit pada setiap zona struktural diperoleh dua pola yaitu NE-SW dan NW-SE. Pola NE-SW diinterpretasikan sebagai arah umum erosi yang mengikuti fractures yang terbentuk bersamaan dengan fase deformasi kompresional yang mengakibatkan pensesaran dan perlipatan. Sedangkan pola NW-SE diinterpretasikan sebagai bentangalam yang tererosi mengikuti sebaran fractures yang terbentuk akibat tension pada saat fase kompresi berakhir.
