Abstract

Kanker tulang terjadi pada 34,2% kasus dari seluruh kasus neoplasma tulang. Penyakit ini sukar diketahui lebih awal karena seringkah penderita hanya menganggapnya nyeri tulang biasa. Di Palembang, belum ada penelitian tentang angka kejadian maupun prevalensi kanker tulang. Untuk mengidentifikasi prevalensi kanker tulang di bagian Patologi Anatomi Rumah Sakit Dr Mohammad Hoesin Palembang tahun 2008 sampai 2011. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian observasional deskriptif dengan metode pendekatan cross-sectional. Data diperoleh dari rekam medis bagian Patologi Anatomi Dr Mohammad Hoesin Palembang. Dari 37.925 data didapatkan 23 sampel. Dari 37.925 data didapatkan 23 sampel kanker tulang (0,058%) dengan usia termuda di bawah 1 tahun dan yang tertua di usia 59 tahun. Perbandingan rasio penderita kanker tulang laki-laki dan perempuan adalah 1,44:1. Frekuensi predileksi terbanyak pada ekstremitas bawah 9 kasus (40,9%). Kanker tulang jenis osteosarkoma memiliki frekuensi :ertinggi yaitu 10 kasus (45,46%). Prevalensi kanker tulang di bagian Patologi Anatomi Dr Mohammad Hoesin -alembang sebesar 5,8 per 10.000 penduduk. Kata kunci: prevalensi, kanker tulang, RSMH, 2008, 2011
