Abstract

Nefropati Diabetik merupakan komplikasi mikrovaskular dari Diabetes Mellitus dan penyebab utama dari gagal ginjal terminal. Penanda awal Nefropati Diabetik adalah mikroalbuminuria yang bila tidak ditangani dengan baik dapat dengan cepat menjadi nefropati setelah terdiagnosis Diabetes Mellitus 5-10 tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran fungsi ginjal dan lama menderita Diabetes Mellitus pada pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 di Instalasi Rawat Inap Bagian Ilmu Penyakit Dalam RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang periode 1 Januari 2012-31 Desember 2012. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif observasional dengan menggunakan data sekunder seluruh data rekam medik pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 yang dirawat inap di Instalasi Rawat Inap Bagian Ilmu Penyakit Dalam RSUP Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Palembang, periode 1 Januari 2012-31 Desember 2012, data didapat dari Rekam Medik Pusat dan Divisi Endokrinologi. Hasil: 156 pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2, kejadian proteinuria terbanyak pada laki-laki (52,6%), kelompok usia 41-60 tahun (42,2%), lama menderita DM >6 tahun (57,7%), tekanan darah normal tinggi (130-139/85-89 mmHg) (50%), indeks glikemik yang buruk (HbAlc: >8%) (56%), dan dislipidemia (44%). Kesimpulan: Kejadian proteinuria pada pasien Diabetes Mellitus tipe 2 terbanyak pada laki-laki, usia 41-60 tahun, lama menderita Diabetes Mellitus >6 tahun, indeks glikemik buruk (HbAlc: >8%), tekanan darah normal tinggi (130-139/85- 89 mmHg), dan dislipidemia.
