Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of ultraviolet led light on the growth of lettuce plants. This research was conducted in February until April 2019 at the Energy and Electrification Laboratory of the Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research uses virgin in descriptive and presentation of data in the form of graphs and tables. Parameters observed were fast growing plants (cm / day), temperature (ºC), humidity relative (%), power requirements (W), percentage of seeds growing (%), light intensity (Lux), water discharge (liters), EC (Electrical Conductivity), pH of the solution, weight the plant at harvest (gram), age plant at harvest, number leaves (strands). The results showed that the B lamp (grow light hydroponic strip) produced the best lettuce growth with plant weight 10.52 g, leaf number 9 strands, temperature 33.7ºC, humidity 71.5%, plant height 154.16 mm , Light Intensity of 1427 lux, Water Debit of 5.90 L and power requirements during growth 35.078.69 Watts/hour.
