Abstract

The objective of this research were to (1) identify the pineapple-proccesed product variety produce by pineapple home agroindustry (2) analyze of income each pineapple household agroindustry that produce various of pineappleproccesed product, (3) analyze the value-added of each pineapple-proccesed product produce by the pineapple home agroindustry bussinesman in Prabumulih City, (4) create the development strategy according the pineapple home agroindustry’s situation in Prabumulih city. This research was conducted in Prabumulih city on November 2017. The method of this research is survey method and the collecting data method is purposive sampling that is sampling techinque with certain conditions so that the number of this research’s sample is 6 bussinesman of pineapple’s home agroindustry. The data that collected on this research was primary and secondary data. The result of this research showed that the pineapple proccesed product in Prabumulih city was pineapple sambal, pineapple brownies, pineapple dodol, pineapple syrup, pineapple pangsit, and pineapple wajik. The highest income obtained by the pineapple home agroindustry product’s is the pineapple pangsit product that is Rp. 4,147,131 per month. While the lowest income obtained by the pineapple home agroindustry product’s is the pineapple brownies product that is Rp. 192,142 per month. The value-added for proccesing the pineapple to pineapple sambal product is 50.64%, pineapple brownies is 39.21%, pineapple dodol is 28.11%, pineapple syrup is 33.65%, pineapple pangsit is 65.47%, and pineapple wajik is 61.61%. Based on the value-added level criteria, the product that generate a high level of value-added are pineapple sambal, pineapple pangsit, and pineapple wajik while there is no product that generate a low level of valueadded or the value are less than 15%. This home agroindustry of various pineapple proccesed product in Prabumulih city situated to I Quadrant and IV cell means that situated in Strong and Potential condition that focused on market penetration and product development.
