Abstract

This study aims to produce a two dimentional figure-based educational game tool with subject a two dimentional figure-based educational game tool. The development of this two dimentional figure educational game tool uses a combination of Rowntree development model and Tessmer evaluation. The Rowntree development model has three phases: the planning phase, development phase and evaluation phase. In the formative evaluation stage proposed by Tessmer consist of 5 stages: Self evaluatin, Expert review, One-to-one evaluation, Small group evaluation. because it is only intended to see the practicality of products developed. Data collection techniques using walkthrough observation and interview. The result of expert review obtained the average value of assasment result of expert on two dimentional figure educational game tool of 3.46 with very valid category. Very valid here means that the product that the researchers develops is feasible to use both in terms of design (practicality, use of material, beauty of form and design) and material aspect (presentation of material, as needed, use and benefit). Stage on One-to-one evaluation obtained the average results of observation of children with two dimentional figure educational game tool of 95.8% ( Very practical category). These results are obtained when the child smoothly mention the name of the two dimentional figure, grouping, sorting, and making the form of farmer). In the small group evaluation stage obtained the average results of observation on two dimentional figure educational game tool of 97.8% (very practical category). These result are also obtained in the same way in the previous stage. Of all stages that have been done can be concluded that two dimentional figure educational game tool developed declared valid and practical for the learning process for children group B.
