Abstract

This research was supposed to find out the perception of teachers and students on the application of full day school education system (FDS) in SMA Plus Negeri 17 Palembang. In this research the population is all teachers of SMA Plus Negeri 17 Palembang and all students of class X SMA Plus Negeri 17 Palembang. The number of population in this research is 523 people by using sample probability technique that is simple random sampling hence the amount of sample in this research is 118 people. The data collection techniques required in the analysis of this research data is documentation techniques and questionnaires. To know the perceptions of teachers and students on the application of education system FDS in SMA Plus Negeri 17 Palembang is used descriptive statistical data analyst technique. Based on interpretation criteria percentage score is positive perception (>95) and negative perception (<95). The results of the analysis of the three data collection techniques, it can be concluded that teachers and students provide a support to the application of the FDS education system with an average number of 421 conducted in SMA Plus Negeri 17 Palembang.
