Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil optimum pada berbagai dosis pupuk kandang sapi pada pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman cabai merah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei-Agustus 2022 di Embung Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya Kecamatan Indralaya Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini disusun dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu S0 = Kontrol; S1= Pupuk Kandang Sapi dengan dosis 300 g/polybag; S2= Pupuk Kandang Sapi dengan dosis 600 g/polybag ; S3= Pupuk Kandang Sapi dengan dosis 900 g/polybag dan 3 ulangan kemudian setiap ulangan terdapat 3 tanaman, sehingga terdapat 36 tanaman. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan diuji lanjut dengan uji BNT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk kandang sapi 900 g/polybag memberikan pengaruh terbaik pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, jumlah cabang,jumlah buah, panjang buah, berat buah, diameter buah dan panjang akar. Penggunaan dosis pupuk kandang sapi yang paling berpengaruh pada respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman cabai merah yaitu dosis 900 g/polybag
