Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara regulasi diri dan harga diri dengan prokrastinasi pada mahasiswa yang mengerjakan skripsi, dan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara regulasi diri dengan prokrastinasi, serta untuk mengetahui hubungan antara harga diri dengan prokrastinasi. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari hipotesis mayor dan hipotesis minor. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang mengerjakan skripsi di Fakultas MIPA Universitas Sriwijaya yang berjumlah 158 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dan metode pengumpulan data yang di pakai dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala prokrastinasi, regulasi diri, dan harga diri. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil hipotesis mayor menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara regulasi diri dan harga diri dengan prokrastinasi pada mahasiswa yang mengerjakan skripsi, r = 0,353, p sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,01). Sumbangan efektif R Square = 0,124, yang berarti besarnya sumbangan regulasi diri dan harga diri dalam mempengaruhi prokrastinasi adalah 12,4%. Hipotesis minor menunjukkan r = -,321, p sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,01). Artinya terdapat korelasi negatif yang signifikan antara regulasi diri dengan prokrastinasi. Hubungan variabel harga diri dengan prokrastinasi diperoleh nilai r = -,340, p sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,01). Artinya terdapat korelasi negatifyang signifikan antara harga diri dengan prokrastinasi.
