Abstract

The computation of pipe network with looped system using Hardy Cross method needs a large computation step and long enough time to finish it. Therefore, a faster solution is required. The aim of this study is to analyze a pipe network with some looped configuration using Newton-Raphson method. The study has shown that the computation step using Newton-Raphson provide a faster solution. Nevertheless, practically this method is not easier than Hardy Cross method, due to requires matrix solution.
