Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode plyometrics terhadap hasil lompat tinggi gaya guling (straddle) pada siswa putra kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa putra kelas XI yang berjumlah 30 orang.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen.dengan design quaassy eksperimental bentuk one grup. Data diambil melalui tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan rata-rata dari pretest ke posttest sebesar 12 cm. Hasil uji-t adalah thitung (13,573) >ttabel (2,045) dan nilai sig. (p) 0,000 < dari 0,05, hasil ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode plyometricsterhadap hasil lompat tinggi gaya guling (straddle) pada siswa putra kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Palembang, dengan demikian penelitian ini berpengaruh pada hasil lompat tinggi gaya guling (straddle) pada siswa putra kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Palembang.
