Abstract

Fokus utama dalam penelitian ini adalah konflik sosial dalam naskah drama ¬Sumur Tanpa Dasar karya Arifin C. Noer, yang memiliki relevansi dengan kondisi di Indonesia pasca pandemi Covid-19. Konflik bermunculan pasca pandemi melanda Indonesia, banyak masyarakat menengah ke bawah yang terkena dampak buruk dari pandemi Covid-19. Konflik batin maupun sosial merupakan bagian penting pada proses pengembangan jalan cerita, biasa disampaikan secara estetik melalui sebuah karya sastra salah satunya naskah drama. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan konflik sosial dalam naskah drama Sumur Tanpa Dasar karya Arifin C. Noer, dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan sumber data naskah drama Sumur Tanpa Dasar karya Arifin C. Noer. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga langkah yaitu (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, adanya konflik sosial dalam naskah drama Sumur Tanpa Dasar karya Arifin C. Noer yang meliputi (1) konflik sosial yang disebabkan adanya perbedaan pendapat antar kaum, (2) konflik sosial yang disebabkan adanya perbedaan kebutuhan setiap kaum maupun indvidu. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki relevansi dengan kondisi di Indonesia pasca pandemi Covid-19. The main focus of this research is social conflicts in the script of the drama Sumur Tanpa Dasar by Arifin C. Noer, which has relevance to conditions in Indonesia after the Covid-19 pandemic. Conflicts emerged after the pandemic hit Indonesia, many middle and lower class people were adversely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Conflict and social conflict are an important part of the process of developing the storyline, usually conveyed aesthetically through a literary work, one of which is a drama script. This research aims to describe social conflicts in the drama script of the Sumur Tanpa Dasar by Arifin C. Noer, with qualitative descriptive research methods. The data collection used purposive sampling techniques with data sources for the drama script of the Sumur Tanpa Dasar by Arifin C. Noer. Data analysis techniques use three steps, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that there are social conflicts in the script of the drama Sumur Tanpa Dasar by Arifin C. Noer which includes (1) social conflicts caused by differences of opinion between people, (2) social conflicts caused by differences in the needs of each group and industry. The results of this study have relevance to conditions in Indonesia after the Covid-19 pandemic.
