Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) Describe the profit sharing system between owners and tapping farmers in Gunung Kemala Sub-District Prabumulih Barat Subdistrict, South Sumatra Province and 2) Analyze the income of rubber farmer farmers and tapping farmers in Gunung Kemala Village, Prabumulih Barat Subdistrict, South Sumatra Province. This research has been carried out in Gunung Kemala Sub-District, Pprabumulih Barat District, South Sumatra Province. Location selection is done purposively. Data collection was conducted from July to August 2018. The research method used in this study was the method The method used in this study was using the survey method. The survey method is a method used by taking samples from a population using the same list of structured and systematic questions to many people then the answers obtained by the researcher are recorded, processed and analyzed. The use of methods is intended to make observations as a whole to obtain data or facts that exist and look for information in factual from the area studied. The results of this study indicate that the profit-sharing system carried out on rubber farmers in Gunung Kemala Sub-District, Prabumulih Sub-District, divides the yield by 50: 50, which means 50% for farmers who own land and 50% for tapping farmers. The owner farmer has the right to sell the harvested latex products by tapping farmers because the owner of the farmer who will take part in the auction and determine the price of latex to be sold to collectors or buyers from the company and owner farmer has an income of Rp. 29,927,627 Rp27,665,629. It can be said that the farmer's owner's income is higher because the owner's farms do their own harvest and own their own land not like the tapping farmers who rent land or do tapping on other people's land.
