Abstract
The aim of the study was to obtain the best rice washing water for the growth and yield of lettuce. The method used in this study was the Randomized Block Design (RBD) method, with 6 treatments and 3 replications and each replication had 3 plants, so in total there were 54 plants. Research treatments: PO = control or without giving rice washing water, P1 = giving 0.25 ℓ of rice washing water, P2 = giving 0.5 ℓ of rice washing water, P3 = giving 0.75 ℓ of rice washing water, P4 = giving water 1 ℓ of rice washing, P5 = 1.25 ℓ of rice washing water. The data obtained from the analysis using Analysis Of Variance (ANOVA). If there is a significant difference, it will be continued with the 5% level LSD test. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, plant fresh weight, and plant dry weight. The results of the analysis of diversity showed that the treatment of rice washing water fertilizer was not significantly different in the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, plant fresh weight, and plant dry weight. There is a tendency for lettuce plants to have better growth at a concentration of P5 = 1.25 ℓ, namely plant height, the number of leaves has more leaves than the concentration on other plants.
