Abstract
Sriwijaya University is located in Indralaya and has a land area of ±712 Ha. One of the facilities available are dormitories, flats, and apartments which are intended for Unsri students, and these facilities have water and electricity available, but specifically for water they still use water sources from the Indralaya PDAM. This research aims to identify groundwater aquifer zones, depth and types of aquifers in the area. This research was conducted at three location with 2 line each, this study used a 2-dimensional geoelectric method with the Wenner – Schlumberger configuration with an average line length of 120 meters. For the overall resistivity value on the first to sixth lines, the lowest resistivity value is 0.155 Ωm while the highest resistivity value is 6805 Ωm. There are three line which indicate of the presence of ground water on the lines with different resistivity value ranges. The second line has a resistivity value range of 39.5–200 Ωm with a depth of 19.8–24 m, the fourth line has a resistivity value range of 17.6–125 Ωm with a depth of 19.8–24 m, then the sixth line has resistivity value range 9.53–30.5 Ωm and depth 12.4–24 m. For these three types of aquifers, there are indications of confined aquifers. From the measurement results, it was found that there is surface water and confined aquifers, for surface water there is on the first line with a depth of 1.25–9.39 m and on the third line the depth is 1.25–6.38. Whereas on the fifth track there is no indication of groundwater and depressed aquifers.
