Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan yang memiliki keberagaman dan multikultural dalam segala hal terutama budaya, keberagaman ini menjadi saalah satu permasalahan yang terdapat di dalam lingkungan persekolahan. Dengan banyak nya perbedaan budaya yang ada, maka siswa dituntut untuk memiliki efikasi multikultural yang baik agar dapat berinteraksi di likungan sekolah. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan efikasi diri multikultural peserta didik yang berasal dari luar kota Lahat dengan siswa yang berasal dari kota Lahat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Negeri 2 Lahat. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini melalui skala efikasi multikultural siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara efikasi multikultural siswa yang berasal dari luar Lahat dengan siswa yang berasal dari Lahat dimana nilai mean siswa yang berasal dari luar Lahat sebesar 8.097 dan nilai mean siswa yang berasal dari Lahat sebesar 8.260. Kata-kata kunci: efikasi diri multikultural, SMK, luar Lahat, kota Lahat.
