Abstract

Pentingnya sebuah ruang untuk anak-anak dapat mengekspresikan diri sekaligus menjadi sebuah tempat untuk belajar merupakan sebuah dasar dari perancangan ini. Bagaimana anak-anak dengan umur spesifik 4-12 tahun dapat berinteraksi, berkreasi, dan bermain pada sebuah ruang dapat melatih perkembangan sensorik dan motorik. Namun kurangnya pemahaman secara luas mengenai ruang berdampak pada psikologi seseorang menyebabkan pemenuhan ruang tidak sesuai dengan standar yang ada. Fasilitas pada bangunan Taman Kanak-Kanak yang telah ada terkadang berbeda dari standar yang telah ditetapkan. Pemenuhan segala kegiatan dilakukan pada satu ruang yang sama, sehingga anak-anak tidak merasa berkewajiban untuk memiliki perilaku yang berbeda pada ruang tersebut. Padahal, umur 4-12 merupakan waktu yang sangat fundamental terhadap pembentukan karakter dan kepribadian anak. Sehingga arsitektur perilaku pada rancangan ini dapat berperan sebagai pengubah perilaku anak-anak yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik mereka, serta sebagai kunci untuk memberikan kenyamanan untuk beraktivitas bagi anak-anak, bukan kenyamanan yang orang dewasa pikirkan. Ruang-ruang akan memiliki 3 poin utama, yaitu fleksibel, dimana ruang tersebut harus dapat mengakomodasi penggunanya dengan tidak kaku, seimbang, dimana sifat ruang untuk berinteraksi dan bagian ruang yang difungsikan minim berinteraksi dapat berdampingan, dan penerapan warna serta pola geometri sederhana untuk menstimulasi sensorik dan motorik anak. The importance of a space for children to express themselves as well as a place to learn is the basis of this design. How children with a specific age of 4-12 years can interact, be creative, and play in a room can develop sensory and motor skills. However, the lack of a broad understanding of space has an impact on a person's psychology causing the fulfillment of space not in accordance with existing standards. Facilities in existing Kindergarten buildings sometimes differ from the established standards. Fulfillment of all activities carried out in the same room, so that children do not feel obliged to have different behavior in that space. In fact, ages 4-12 is a very fundamental time for the formation of children's character and personality. So that the behavioral architecture in this design can act as a modifier of children's behavior that is adapted to their characteristics, as well as a key to providing comfort for children to do activities, not the comfort that adults think. Spaces will have 3 main points, namely flexible, where the space must be able to accommodate its users in a non-rigid, balanced manner, where the nature of the space for interaction and the parts of the space that function with minimal interaction can coexist, and the application of colors and simple geometric patterns to stimulate sensory and motor skills.
