Abstract

Dibutuhkan suatu wadah agar proses mengorganisir berlangsung dengan baik, yaitu struktur organisasi. Struktur ini akan menggambarkan hubungan formal, tetapi tidak melukiskan hubungan informal yang umumnya timbul bila ada interaksi sosial. Setelah diteliti kontraktor pelaksana pada proyek ini menerapkan struktur organisasi fungsional. Struktur organisasi fungsional ditujukan untuk dapat memudahkan pengendalian kinerja personil serta biaya, jadwal dan mutu produk. Baik dari organisasi atau kontraktor maupun pada pekerja menyebutkan bahwa struktur organisasi fungsional pada proyek ini sudah berjalan sangat baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah skor total kuesioner yang berada dalam kategori interval “sangat baik”. Dalam kegiatan sehari-hari pada kontraktor pelaksana lebih mengutamakan fungsi atau peran masing-masing unit. Bentuk pengefektifan tersebut antara lain penempatan posisi yang tepat pada pekerjaan di struktur organisasi. Hal ini dimaksudkan untuk dapat lebih memperlancar proses keija perusahaan dan terciptanya aktivitas manajemen yang baik dalam berbagai kegiatan proyek konstruksi.
