Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing (ST) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pekerjaan dasar teknik mesin kelas X TPm di SMK Negeri 2 Palembang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ada sebanyak 107 siswa dengan 16 siswa kelompok A sebagai sampel. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre-Eksperimental (nondesign) bentuk desain penelitian ini adalah One Group yaitu dengan menggunakan tes awal dan tes akhir. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes yang berupa soal pilihan ganda, Observasi, dan angket respon. Berdasarkan hasil tes yang didapat pada pertemuan pertama pretest sebesar 67,88 dan nilai pertemuan ke 2 atau posttest sebesar 79,00. Berdasarkan data di atas dapat dikatakan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing (ST) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pekerjaan dasar teknik Mesin kelas X TPm di SMK Negeri 2 Palembang.Kata kunci: Buku Belajar Membaca dan Menulis Permulaan dengan Metode Iqro Modifikasi, keterampilan membaca dan menulis permulaan
