Abstract

This study aims to produce development products in the form of learning videos using the Vlog Now (VN) application on debate text material for class X at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan. This study is research and development with the development model by Sugiyono. The media in the form of learning videos using the Vlog Now (VN) application on debate text material for class X SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan developed based on the analysis results of teachers and students' needs, and interview results with Indonesian language subject teachers for class X and students in class X. Based on the results of needs analysis and interviews, teacher, and students need learning video products using the Vlog Now (VN) application for debate material. The process of making a product begins with making flowcharts and storyboards. The next step is making a product, test product validation, and product improvements. The validation test consists of material validation, language validation, and media validation. The results of the material validation obtained a total value of 36 (90%) with an average of 4.5. The results of the language validation obtained a total score of 31 (88.58%) with an average of 4.42. Media validation results obtained a total value of 40 (83,34%) with an average of 4.17. Based on the validation results, it concluded that the media in the form of learning videos using the Vlog Now (VN) application on debate text material for class X SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan was categorized as very valid.
