Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of career development on employee performance at PT Indotruck Utama Palembang Branch. The research method used is a quantitative method. The data used in this research is primary data collected by the questionnaire technique. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling. The population in this study is all employees at PT Indotruck Utama Palembang Branch with sampling techniques using saturated sampling, which amounted to 95 respondents. Based on the results of this study, the regression equation Y = 28,027 + 0,643X is obtained while the correlation coefficient value is r = 0,592, which indicates that the relationship between career development and employee performance is in a significant category. The determination coefficient value shows that career development has an impact on employee performance at 35.1% and the remaining 64.9% is influenced by other factors. Based on the results of the test of the hypothesis, obtained tcount (7,089) > ttable (1,661) then the hypothesis are acceptable, meaning career development has a significant impact on employee performance.
