Abstract

This research is entitled "Development of Based Learning MediaWebsite Use Google Sites Material of the Japanese Occupation Period in Palembang Class XI SMA N 01 Tanjung Raja". The formulation of the problem in this study is how to develop media-based learningwebsite google sites which contains valid and effective material during the Japanese Occupation in Palembang in class XI. This study aims to see the effectiveness and validity of learning media that have been made in Indonesian history subjects. This type of research is development research with the Rowntree development model which includes three stages, namely planning, development and evaluation. The level of product validity was assessed by media, material, item and grammar experts. The score obtained after validating media experts was 3.90 with a valid category, material experts were 4.77 with a very valid category, item experts were 4.44 with a very valid category and grammar experts with a valid category 3.88. The effectiveness of media-based learningwebsite google sites This can be seen from the results of the increase in the field trial stage (field test) which is equal to 52.4% with a value of n gain of 0.77 in the high category. This shows that learning media is basedwebsite googlesites which contains material during the Japanese Occupation in Palembang is said to be valid and effective.
