Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi nilai karakter peduli sosial dalam kegiatan Jumat berbagi pada kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Rambutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan utama yaitu enam orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti yaitu wawancara, dokumentasi, observasi. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil yaitu dari tiga tahapan kegiatan jumat berbagi yaitu 1) Perencanaan peserta didik diberikan penjelasan mengenai tujuan dan tahapan kegiatan jumat berbagi 2) Proses dimana peserta didik akan dibagi tugas ada yang mengumpulkan uang sumbangan sisanya menunggu di dalam kelas dan 3) Tahap evaluasi peserta didik dilihat apakah dapat menyelesaikan rangkaian kegiatan sebelumnya dengan baik. Bahwa dari setiap kelas VIII sudah melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut dengan hasil secara keseluruhan yaitu dari jumlah peserta didik kelas VIII ada 170 orang didapatkan hasil 162orang peserta didik sudah menunjukkan sikap yang sesuai dengan nilai karakter peduli sosial sedangkan delapan anak lainnya menunjukkan respons Tidak untuk indikator delapan, sembilan dan tiga belas.
