Abstract

Retired are people who stops working because of their term is over. In retirement, they wouldn't have monthly income anymore, but they have rights of the company pension fund where their works. PT. Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) II is one of the largest state-owned plantation companies that provides guaranteed pension funds to its employees. Employees with normal retirement age at PTPN II are employees of class IA to group IID who have reached 55 years old and employees of class IIIA to IVD who have reached 56 years old. Furthermore, this company also implements an early retirement policy for its employees by considering the period of employment, pension fund, and the employee class position. Therefore, this research was conducted with purpose to classifying pension types of PTPN II employees in 2012-2019 using the fuzzy decision tree method based on repeated split validation resampling. The data used in this study has 7 predictor variables and 2 classifications of pension types, such as normal retirement and early retirement with 5140 total data. The separation of 5140 PTPN II employee pension data uses repeated split validation resampling with ratio of 0.8 training data (4112 observations) and 0.2 test data (1028 observations). At the classifiying was found that retirement age has greatest impact with result that retirement age was used as root node. This research produces accuracy value of 92.41%, precision value of 92.08% and recall value of 99.89%.
